Dr. Kenton is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology, Division Chief of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. She has served as an FPMRS fellowship program director Ob/Gyn residency director, mentoring and sponsoring numerous fellows and residents, who have gone onto successful academic careers. She is recognized for her leadership in gynecologic education having developed and published innovative surgical and research educational curricula.  Dr. Kenton has held leadership roles in most national and international specialty organizations including SGS, AUGS, IUGA, ACGME ABOG, and ACOG. Dr. Kenton also possesses substantial expertise in clinical outcome and translational research.  She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan and has had continuous NIH funding for over a decade, serving as PI on multiple NIH grants.  She has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications on pelvic floor disorders and gynecologic education and served on the editorial boards of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Journal of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.
