SGS Golf Tournament | Shotgun/Scramble Format - (Ticketed Event  - $149)
Tuesday, March 31, 2020 | Hidden Hills Golf Club

The course has an Arnold Palmer Signature layout, known for its intriguing curves and contours and rolling fairways, a setting that you don’t often find in Florida. The fairways are lined with majestic pines and oaks; and the lush greens have won a name for Hidden Hills in North Florida.

It is time to see who will unseat the reigning team champions: Drew Cassidenti, Mark Walter, Chuck Ascher-Walsh, and Peter Rosenblatt, women’s closest to the pin winner: Pat Rozeboom, men’s closest to the pin winner: Wes Harris, women’s longest drive winner: Catherine Matthews, and men’s longest drive winner: Ernie Lockrow.

The format will be a four-person scramble, eighteen-hole tournament where everyone hits a shot (the best ball is chosen, everyone hits the next shot from there and this continues until the ball is holed out. We encourage all to play as there is no pressure on anyone except to have a good time with our colleagues and cocktails on a beautiful golf course. The $149 fee covers the round of golf, golf cart, four drink tickets and prizes for the first and second place teams, longest drive: men and women and closest to the pin: men and women.

You may order rental clubs on the SGS registration site for only $49. This fee includes three golf balls.

Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 2 pm - 5 pm

It’s time for some different R & R while biking through America’s award-winning neighborhood.  This Riverbank & Riverside escape offers scenic back roads canopied by oak trees draped with Spanish moss. You will see a rich collection of architecturally diverse homes and churches.  A professional guide will meet the group at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.   Your guide will provide each rider with a touring bike, safety gear, water and a snack.  Once the group feels comfortable and has their belongings stowed, we commence the tour by cycling along the St. Johns Riverbank.  The spectacular view is framed by iconic bridges and you’ll delight in the seasonal fauna, birds and wildlife encountered as we follow the turns of the river.  As we head into the neighborhood of Riverside-Avondale, you’ll quickly appreciate why it is ranked as a Top 10 Great Neighborhood by the American Planners Association.   The gentle pace allows for views of elegant mansions, community parks and green spaces, a variety of artwork and quietly hidden historic homes.  It is our pleasure to pause along the way and describe cultural points of interest as we share the history and charm of Riverside.  Discover the hidden gem of Jacksonville while biking across the flat terrain.  Join the R & R Bike Tour to experience why Trip Advisor rated it the #1 Jacksonville attraction.
