ANNUAL MEETING PRESENTERS

How will presentation day/time be determined?
When the schedule for the Virtual Scientific Meeting being held on July 9-12 is finalized, invited speakers will be contacted by email and asked to confirm their availability to participate in the virtual meeting.

What happens if I submitted an abstract?
All accepted abstracts are currently electronically published in the March issue of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AJOG).

What happens if I submitted a manuscript to AJOG?
Decisions regarding publication will go out to authors in early April and revisions for papers would be accepted into early May. The current plan is to still make those decisions in April/May and embargo the papers until the print issue which would come out in August.

What happens if I submitted a manuscript to journals other than AJOG?
Current SGS policy does not allow publication of manuscripts prior to presentation at the annual scientific meeting. This requirement will be waived in 2020. Manuscripts due to be published after April 1, 2020 can be published this year as an exception to the SGS policy.

What is the status of my membership if my abstract was accepted as an oral presentation, video, oral poster, videofest or non- poster?
The SGS policy for membership requirement has been modified by the SGS Board of Directors for SGS 2020 only. If the first author intends to use the accepted abstract, as identified above (oral presentation, video, oral poster, videofest or non- poster), it will be accepted as the presentation requirement for membership.
