    Scholarships

The Michael P. Aronson Fund honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Michael P. Aronson, who dedicated eight years to leading the SGS Winter Postgraduate Course. Established in his memory, the fund helps ensure that trainees and early-career faculty have access to this premier educational experience, regardless of financial barriers.

Each year, a limited number of scholarships are available to help offset the cost of course registration. Applications are reviewed on an individual basis, with awards determined by demonstrated financial need, available funding, and the discretion of SGS.

To request consideration, please email info@sgsonline.org and include the following:

    • Full name
    • Professional title
    • Current training status (or post-fellowship status)
    • A brief statement describing your financial need and why you are requesting assistance
    • A letter of support or sign-off from your Program Director (for trainees) or Department Chair

    Eligibility

    • Scholarships are awarded on a one-time basis. Individuals who have previously received an Aronson Fund scholarship are not eligible to receive a second award.
    • Scholarship requests should be submitted before registering for the course to allow adequate time for review.
